Frankwell Advent Windows

New for 2019 - an exciting project to turn Frankwell into a giant Advent Calendar!

The Plan: On each day of December a shop window is unveiled. It has been decorated with a particular Christmas Carol in mind. Sometimes the business themselves have created the display. On other times, a local group (perhaps a charity or a class from a local school) has created the display.

We sing the carol. The display is revealed. Then we do it again the next day, at another local business.

On Christmas Eve the crowd grows as we travel from shop to shop, singing a verse or two of each carol, and ending up at St George’s Church where the final window is unveiled and we enjoy mince pies.

This page will develop as plans come together. Right now we are looking to recruit local businesses to take part.

LOCAL BUSINESSES - WE NEED YOU!

Please look at the PDF document here for more information. UPDATE: We now have 23 local businesses taking part. Thank you! Watch this space for more details…
