Christmas 2021
You are warmly invited to any of our Christmas services and events.
Scroll down for more information about each one.
Because of the government’s “Plan B” regulations please wear a face-covering unless you are exempt.
(We will not ask you the reason why you are exempt.)
You can remove the mask when we are having refreshments. Legally you can remove the mask during singing.
We encourage you to keep your mask on when singing but feel free to remove them briefly
for a breather, to take a sip of water, or other reasons.
‘carols by candlelight’ is cancelled, sadly
christingle: 4.30pm on sunday 12th december
Come and make a Christingle and try your hand at some other Christmas craft. At about 5pm we will have a short service. It is a very special moment when the candles are lit and the lights are turned off! Afterwards you are welcome to stay for cake and drinks.
We are raising funds for Stand By Me - a lovely Christian charity that rescues children and provides the care, love and attention they need to thrive. There is no charge for our Christingle but you will be invited to make a donation.
Find out more at their website www.standby.me
MORNING CAROL SERVICE: 10am on sunday 19th december
It is a joy to sing familiar Christmas carols and to hear again the story of Christmas. For some people the traditional carol service is too late in the evening, or a bit too long for restless children. In which case, this is the service for you!
CAROLS By candlelight: 7pm on Tuesday 21st December
Sadly we have had to cancel this service, due to the number of people avoiding gatherings before Christmas, and because singing 9 carols while wearing masks is not our definition of Christmas joy! Do come along on Sunday 19th December, 10am.
crib service: 5pm Christmas eve
Burn up some Christmas Eve energy with our crib service! Perfect for families and children but every age is welcome. Audience participation, songs, carols and the joy of celebrating Jesus, the Son of God born for us.
christmas day: 10am service
“O Come, All Ye Faithful, Joyful and Triumphant!” Join us at 10am to worship Jesus Christ, born to be our Saviour and our King.
